Space Camp Belgium
I created Space Camp Belgium for children to attend that would teach them about space. There is an app, website, poster, badge and chocolate bar for the event.
Why?
We were given a location and type of event. I received outer space and Belgium. I decided my audience for the event would be children ages eight to thirteen. To attend the event they would need to be with a parent or teacher. I decided to make it an interactive learning experience for the children using cellphones.
How Everything Works Together.
The poster for the event would attract people to sign up for the event. The poster would be hung around schools, sent to teachers, around museums, and in grocery stores. Parents and teachers can then go onto the website page that is shared on the poster.
The website consists of the signup page for parents and their children as well as access to set up an account for the event. Once they have everything set up they will be recommended to get the Space Camp Belgium app that the children will use the day of the event.
The day of the event, when the children and other attendees enter, they will receive their badges that they will use to scan throughout the day. The app activates at the beginning of the event and will help the attendee run through the activities.
When the day ends, as everyone leaves they will receive a Belgium chocolate bar as a thank you for attending Space Camp Belgium.
