Temperature Rising.

I was inspired by yearly temperature graphs because it is amazing to see how drastic the temperature is rising and at such a fast pace. My goal was to create a visual that was all type to mimicked the graphs. Stretched type is looked down upon, but that was my goal. I wanted to do something to type that is uncomfortable to look at to express the drastic increase in temperature that we should be concerned about as an entire planet.

Water Levels Rising.

For This poster I wanted to express the action of rising through type. I looked at how water flows and how bubbles in water rise. I decided to create an image that felt like it was floating up and rising. I used transparency to act as the opacity of water as well as how the type is tilted. It feels as though it is moving up just like the water levels each year.
